We are a b2b2c gaming company with global stakeholders. From the tools and technology subscriptions we utilize to the variety of customers, consultants, and partners we constantly interact with, our ability to be organized and responsible is pivotal.
Hence we are looking for somebody with the energy and discipline necessary to scale the company as we work towards our Series A and beyond. This is a very expansive role, with a lot of responsibility, and requires close coordination with C-level management.
We want your help to define, set up, and oversee all kinds of company processes. Especially when establishing or growing new departments. You will also help us in defining recruiting profiles and with the recruitment process itself. Besides that, your tasks and responsibilities will also include the following areas:
Fundraising
As we move towards our next round, you will need to be closely involved in the fundraising process, helping us plan and organize the process and preparing material for potential investors (financials, user growth, etc.)
Finances
This is one of the most important areas you will deal with as we currently lack a dedicated CFO. The main challenges and responsibilities are:
- Define and roll out processes to handle our back-office work: revenue, payouts to game developers, refunds, chargebacks, multiple currencies, etc.
- Research and assess new payment systems, and overview any eventual integration into our system.
- Assist in elaborating the budget, keeping it up to date, making sure that it is reviewed periodically, and producing monthly updates for the investors.
- Research and deploy processes minimize FX fees when handling multiple currencies.
- Take full ownership of all the accounting processes. Coordinate with the bookkeepers to keep the books in order, prepare the yearly accounts for the auditor and the yearly report, handle invoice payments, improve our chart of accounts to reflect better the value created.
Human Resources & Office Management
We also need some help with managing the office and some day-to-day HR:
- Managing the salary payroll, vacations, and expense claims.
- Buying equipment for employees and office supplies.
Legal
Your role in this area will be to make sure that all legal matters in the company are handled appropriately, based on the CEO's standards.
- Review legal documents in coordination with the company's legal counsel.
- Help in the drafting of legal documents in coordination with the legal counsel.
- Be responsible for collecting and archiving all legal documents, specifically for all the ones derived from day-to-day operations, such as signing up new developers, etc.
